Greece uses the Euro (symbol: €), code EUR.
Banknotes come in denominations of 500, 200, 100, 50, 20, 10 and 5 Euro. Euro is subdivided into 100 Cent. Coins come in denominations of 2 and 1 Euro and 50, 20, 10, 5, 2 and 1 Cent.

You can buy a SIM card for about 23.60 EUR, which includes 2 gigabytes (GB) of data plan. You can choose from 3 network providers: Cosmote, Vodafone or Wind. Greece uses GSM mobile networks GSM 900 and GSM 1800. 4G mobile network is available in many areas in Lefkada.

Internet speed in Greece is on average 7.3 Mbps. Most of the properties provide high speed internet connection. There are also many public areas, specially in Lefkada town, Nidri and Vasiliki with free wifi. Moreover, there are many internet cafes with available computers.

No vaccinations are required to enter the country, but it is recommended to perform routine immunizations for your protection and to prevent the spread of infectious diseases.
